Project
In late 2024, I began an artistic and communication collaboration with Bodega Crudo, an independent neighborhood wine bar in Sant Andreu, Barcelona, founded by chef Roger González.
The collaboration emerged organically from proximity and shared interests in independent culture, food and local projects. It developed as a creative exploration of how a small, community-based space can express its identity through visual and written language.
My contribution focuses on artistic production, technical communication work and independent creative input.
As the collaboration evolved, I also helped the ownership define—for the first time—a clear written mission, vision, and set of values for the project. This strategic work became a foundation to guide decisions, communication tone, long-term planning and all future branding actions.
NOVEMBER 2024 – TODAY
ARTISTIC PRODUCTION, PHOTOGRAPHY, VISUAL DOCUMENTATION, COMMUNICATION
independent cultural collaboration
This collaboration centers on the artistic documentation and communication development of Bodega Crudo as a local cultural space.
The work includes photography, short-form video, written pieces and structured reflections around identity, tone and narrative. Rather than providing a commercial communication service, the process consists of creative production and technical articulation of ideas that were already present in the project.
Part of the work involved facilitating reflective sessions to put into words the philosophy of the space — translating implicit values into written form for clarity and internal coherence. This documentation process functions as a conceptual exercise in narrative construction rather than as business consultancy.
I have also explored communication formats, potential digital structures and visual coherence as part of a broader technical and artistic inquiry into how independent spaces represent themselves.
All contributions are developed autonomously and framed as creative work.
Visual Documentation: Photography and video capturing the daily life, atmosphere and material culture of the bodega.
Narrative Articulation: Written exercises to articulate the project’s identity, values and positioning from a communication perspective.
Technical Communication Study: Analysis of existing digital presence and exploration of structured content formats.
Conceptual Identity Work: Facilitated discussions to document mission, vision and guiding principles as a communication framework.
Content Formats: Creation of adaptable templates for posts and short-form communication.
Graphic Dialogue: Conversations with the project’s external designer to align written and visual language conceptually.
Observation and Immersion: Initial conversations and presence on-site to understand the culture and rhythm of the space.
Review of Existing Material: Study of past posts and materials to identify narrative patterns and gaps.
Articulation Sessions: Structured reflections to document values and guiding ideas.
Visual Production: On-site photography and video created during regular activity hours, without staged setups.
Communication Experiments: Testing formats, tone and rhythm to explore coherence.
Documentation for Continuity: Drafting guidelines to help maintain consistency over time.
The main challenge was maintaining the spontaneous, informal character of Bodega Crudo while introducing clarity to its digital expression.
The project required balancing structure and authenticity — avoiding over-stylization or institutional tone.
Working within live service conditions also meant producing visual material in real time, adapting constantly to the environment without interfering with daily operations.
